In this modern world we struggle finding ways to figure out what we need for our bodies to be supported in healing and strength. Essential Oils can help you swap out many of the medicines that can cause a vissous cycle in your life. It can be medicinal and therapeutic.
Here are some tips that Essential Oils can help during labor and post labor.
Labor:
Clary Sage - a beautiful smell that is one of my favorites right now. Apply 3 drops around ankles or on abdomen during labor. Repeat if needed. This one is to be use with causion during pregnancy because it is known to move things along. Some have experienced that if you drink Clary Sage in water or almond milk it helps thinning and dialating the cervix. You can take it through capsules if you prefer.
Clary Sage has indicated that it naturally raises estrogen and progesterone levels because it is in the Botanical Family. Due to it's properties it helps strengthen contractions in labor.
Post Labor:
Lavender and Geranium - apply to abdomen, ankles, or bottoms of feet. This helps speed up your recovery and helps you keep calm during your new experience of becoming a mother.
